Youth: Apply for MYLF & Step II 2020 by 04/01

The Montana Youth Leadership Forum is now accepting applications from students with disabilities in grades 9-12 to be one of the 20 delegates to the 2020 MYLF Summer Forum to be held July 20-24 on the campus of Carroll College in Helena.
In its 20th year the MYLF Summer Forum is an all expenses paid five day program where the student delegates work with program staff to build leadership skills, develop self advocacy techniques, map out short and long term goals for their future and have fun!
Youth who attended the MYLF Summer Forum or a MYLF Mini Forum in the past are encouraged to apply for MYLF Step II which will be held June 22-26 in Helena.
During MYLF Step II, students participate in two job shadows/mini internships. These shadows are tailored to their individual interests and future career goals. students have the opportunity to attend several workshops including job exploration, workplace skill building, financial integrity, self advocacy and more. Students will also complete a community service project. Finally (and the most fun), they get to see all your MYLF friends again!
Deadline for applications for both MYLF and Step II is Wednesday April 1, so apply today!
