March 12 Art Class: Friendship Bracelets

LIFTT All Abilities Art Class Logo

LIFTT is pleased to offer a weekly art class for all ages and abilities! The classes will be held on Thursdays from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. in the LIFTT community room @ 1201 Grand Avenue.

For the March 12 class we will be making Friendship Bracelets! We will create some beautiful bracelets that you can either keep or give to a friend!

In order for us to make sure we have enough materials on hand for class participants we ask that you RSVP by end of business on Monday March 9.

The March 12 All Abilities Art Class will focus on the classic summer camp craft of Friendship Bracelets .

March 5 Art Class: Rock Painting Redux

LIFTT is pleased to offer a weekly art class for all ages and abilities! The classes will be held on Thursdays from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. in the LIFTT community room @ 1201 Grand Avenue.

For the March 5 class we will be finishing up the rock paintings we started last week or you can paint all new rocks.

In order for us to make sure we have enough materials on hand for class participants we ask that you RSVP by end of business on Monday March 2.

February 27 Art Class: Rock Painting

LIFTT is pleased to offer a weekly art class for all ages and abilities! The classes will be held on Thursdays from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. in the LIFTT community room @ 1201 Grand Avenue.

Each class will explore a different technique or project. For the
February 27 class we will be rock painting . You can create a decorative rock by painting designs, animals, flowers anything you’d like. You can even paint on some kind words and leave your rock(s) in a public place to brighten someone’s day!

In order for us to make sure we have enough materials on hand for class participants we ask that you RSVP by end of business on Monday February 24.

January 9 Art Class to create plaster hand sculptures for ArtWalk Display

LIFTT is pleased to offer a weekly art class for all ages and abilities! The classes will be held on Thursdays from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. in the LIFTT community room @ 1201 Grand Avenue.

Each class will explore a different technique or project. On January 9, 2020 class participants will using plaster to create sculptures of their hands for display in our first ever All Abilities Art class exhibit to be held at Billings First Congregational United Church of Christ on February 7 as part of that night’s ArtWalk Downtown Billings. Participants will also be asked to pose for a photo to go along side their hands in the exhibit.

January 2 Art Class to construct Mobile for display @ February ArtWalk

LIFTT is pleased to offer a weekly art class for all ages and abilities! The classes will be held on Thursdays from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. in the LIFTT community room @ 1201 Grand Avenue.

Each class will explore a different technique or project. On January 2, 2020  we will be working as a group to create a wooden mobile.  The mobile we create will be part of our first ever All Abilities Art class exhibit to be held at Billings First Congregational United Church of Christ on February 7 as part of that night’s ArtWalk Downtown Billings. As part of the mobile project we will also be taking a group photo to display with the piece.

Each class will explore a different technique or project. On December 19, We will be doing Pour Paintings! these unique creations make great gifts and are a lot of fun to make, come pour some paint with us!

Make your own Christmas Ornament @ December 12 Art Class

Each class will explore a different technique or project. On December 12, We will be making Christmas ornaments! We will be using various crafting items to make creative and festive ornaments for the tree.

Each class will explore a different technique or project. On November 21, We will be painting woodwork! We will have woodwork projects such as door hangings and wall decor for you to apply your creativity too using acrylic paint.

November 14 Art Class will make Origami for ArtWalk

Each class will explore a different technique or project. On November 14, We will be learning about the ancient Japanese art of paper folding known as Origami. The pieces we create will be part of our first ever All Abilities Art class exhibit to be held at Billings First Congregational United Church of Christ on February 7, 2020 as part of that night’s ArtWalk Downtown Billings.
