Think Global, Act Local by Supporting LIFTT This International Day of Persons with Disabilities
December 2, 2021
December 3, is the 29th observance of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities (IDPWD).
Created by the United Nations, One of the guiding purposes of IDPWD is to encourage the nations and peoples of the world to imagine a future where all disabled people have the right to be in control of their lives without undue control and interference from others as we; and the resources needed to live, be educated, work, and recreate in their homes and communities and to not be isolated and segregated from society in institutions.
Here in Southeastern Montana, it is the mission of LIFTT to provide the information, services, and advocacy needed to make this future a reality for people of all ages with any type of disability throughout our 18 county service region; in this time of reduced federal, state, and foundation support, however, LIFTT finds itself more in need of grassroots individual donations to realize its mission.
Can you please join in marking IDPWD 2021 with a gift of support to LIFTT?
If you wish to donate offline you can do so by contacting our executive director Carlos Ramalho at (406) 690-5190 or email@example.com or by mailing a check to LIFTT Attn: Executive Director, 1201 Grand Avenue #1 Billings, MT 59102
