Living Well with a Disability class to begin August 13

Living Independently for Today and Tomorrow (LIFTT) is pleased to offer an eight session workshop entitled “Living Well with a Disability.”
Using a curriculum developed by the Disability & Health program at the University of Montana’s Rural Institute, “Living Well with a Disability” introduces a goal-setting approach and teaches problem-solving skills. “Living Well” also provides tools for managing health and making healthy lifestyle changes, increasing physical activity, developing and maintaining healthy relationships, improving nutrition, avoiding depression and frustration, and advocating for community change that will help maintain gains. Persons completing all sessions of the work shop will receive a certificate.
Classes will be held at the LIFTT Billings Office at 1201 Grand Avenue.
Class Dates: Mondays and Wednesdays August 13-September 12 (No Class on September 3 or September 5)
Time: 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
