LIFTT is pleased to announce its new Executive Director, Jen Cleland. Jen has over twelve years of experience in the nonprofit industry, including serving locally for the March of Dimes, Young Families Early Head Start, and the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. Her family’s experience with disability has made her a strong advocate for and believer in the IL philosophy.
Jen is from Rhode Island and moved to Yellowstone National Park in 2009 to be the director of the park’s nonprofit early learning center. It was in Yellowstone where she met her husband, a Billings native. In 2013, they rejoined civilization and moved to Billings to start their family. Jen lives with her husband, 3 year old son, and dog. She loves reading, gardening, and spreading joy.
“I’m so excited to be here at LIFTT. The mission is incredibly powerful, the staff are amazingly dedicated, and the potential is huge. I look forward to getting to know our consumers, as well as making sure our staff are valued and rewarded for the amazing work they do every day. We have such an opportunity to affect positive change for people living with disabilities in Eastern Montana and I can’t wait to get down to business!”
