Deaf Services
Persons who are deaf or hard of hearing
have unique needs. Because of the communication differences, it is
difficult for them to work with persons outside of their needs. LIFTT
has a staff person who works with the deaf to teach the self-advocacy
skills. She also works with other places to help insure that all of
the cities services are accessible to the deaf.
