Survey: Have your say on the future of Billings parks
December 6, 2017
As a member of the Yellowstone County Healthy by Design Coalition, LIFTT is partnering with the Billings Department of Parks and Recreation, the local medical community and other stakeholders to undertake an initiative known as “Parks RX.” The goal of Parks RX is to develop “prescriptions” for Billings city parks that will encourage people to use them for physical activity and social connections.
As a first step the Parks RX team is planning on creating maps of local parks beginning with North Park and Pioneer Park. As we develop the maps the team is looking for information from people who live, work, learn, and play in Billings to learn what draws people to use particular parks, how these important features should be represented on maps, and how the maps should be shared to promote use of local parks.
The Parks RX team has developed a survey to help us gather this information. The brief survey should take approximately five minutes to complete and at the end participants will have the chance to enter a drawing to win one of three $25 Albertson’s gift cards we are giving away. The survey closes on December 15. LIFTT and the rest of the Parks RX team thanks you for your feedback.
